Stickers
What is a SASE?
This is a self addressed stamped envelope. When requesting stickers,
write your name & put a stamp on an envelope, inside the envelope
you send us. We'll throw some stickers in your return envelope
and toss it into the mail.
What size envelope do I need to send?
Any size envelope will work. You will not receive more stickers
by sending a large envelope, or less by
sending a small envelope.
What do I do if I can't get US stamps?
Enclose a US dollar or two. If you can't get your hands on that,
send along some art or 'gifts' for trade.
Do I have to send my own stickers?
No, you do not need to send anything. However, if you send your
own stickers or art, you will receive more stickers in return.
How many stickers do I get?
If you send SASE & nothing more, you will receive 5 stickers.
If you send art to trade, a donation, or your own You Are Beautiful
piece, you will receive more stickers in return.
How can I get bulk stickers?
For large amounts of stickers, we would ask for a donation, to
at least cover our costs. Stickers cost us 10 cents a piece, plus
postage to send them to you. *If you need the stickers quickly,
please donate through Paypal, and send
a follow up email to you-are (at) you-are-beautiful (dot) com
with your request. If you send through the mail, it could take
as much as 8 weeks to receive your stickers. Please do NOT send
checks.
Please email us with your specific request.
You can also download stickers yourself,
and print out as many as you need.
What cities has this project reached?
We now have a new section, In Your City.
Anyone who puts up a sticker, photographs it, & emails it
to us can take part in this.
Where
are my stickers?
Please understand we recieve upwards to 500 requests a week. We
work very hard to respond to these requests quickly. We normally
send out stickers once a month, but often it is every two months.
Please be patient. If you need stickers quickly, please read instructions
under Bulk Stickers.
General
What is this all about?
The main goal of this project is to spread a positive message
throughout the world by any means necessary except through commerical
use. We are extremely open and interested with collaborating with
individuals and groups. Anyone is welcome to participate, there
is no age or skill level necessary. The project is as inclusive
as the message. See our Interview
section to shed a little more light on what we are about.
What can I do to help?
--For starters, send in a self addressed
stamped envelope to receive & distribute stickers.

your own You Are Beautiful piece & we will include it in Inspiring
Works.

Can I make my own piece?
We are quite excited to work with amazing individuals around the
world.
It is truly inspiring to see how far & wide this message has
spread.
When making your own You Are Beautiful piece, we have a 3 simple
rules.
1. You do not sell what you make.
2. You do not make any products, even given away free of charge,
that could potentially commodify the message. (such as t-shirts,
coffee mugs, etc.)
3. Be respectful with your installations.
Beyond that, please feel free to spread the message in any way
you see fit!

Inspiring Works
Can I make my own t-shirt?
We would ask that you never make any product that could potentialy
commodify the message, even free of charge. We have had various
requests for t-shirts, coffee mugs, etc, along with other commerical
inquiries.
In our opinion, these types of products would commodify the message.
Commercial Inquiries
We work extremely hard to not let this project become commodified
or commercialized.
We have respectfully turned down every commercial opportunity
that has been offered.
We feel for this particular message, it would water down the mission.
We have several copyrights in place to protect ourselves, and
limit its use to soley non commercial projects.
