A/WAY addresses various issues regarding our relationship to nature, with a primary emphasis on re-using and re-purposing materials, and recycling. In addition to their individual projects, some of these collaboratives will work together to produce new projects for this exhibition.

The groups will also work with The University of the Poor’s School of Arts and Culture, which is part of the Poor People’s Economic Human Rights Campaign, to organize events to be held during the course of the show and to strategize ways in which these projects can help build towards broader social and political organizing.
