FAQ: Projects
What kinds of projects do you do?
We work in many different ways, including public art installations, murals, workshops, custom stickers, indoor pieces, community activations, and other message-driven collaborations.
Some projects are very small and simple. Others are large public artworks designed for schools, cities, parks, and organizations.
Do you only do large public art?
No. While we do create large outdoor sculptures and murals, we also work on smaller projects, workshops, indoor installations, sticker programs, and custom community-based ideas.
Do you work with schools and community groups?
Yes. We regularly collaborate with schools, libraries, youth programs, and community organizations.
Projects can range from sticker-based participation and workshops to murals and permanent installations.
Do you offer workshops?
Yes. Workshops can be created for schools, community groups, events, and organizations. These experiences are designed to help people feel heard, inspired, cared for, and more connected to each other.
Can you help if we are not sure what we want yet?
Yes. Many people reach out with a feeling, a goal, or a space, but not a fully formed plan. That is a very normal place to start.
The most helpful thing is to share a little about your space, your community, your timeline, and what kind of impact you hope to make.
Do you have options for smaller budgets?
Yes. Not every project needs to be a major public artwork. Depending on the setting, goals, and budget, there may be ways to participate through stickers, workshops, murals, smaller installations, or custom ideas.
Is You Are Beautiful a nonprofit?
No. You Are Beautiful is an independent art project created by artist Matthew Hoffman.
Sales of stickers and artwork help support the project and allow us to continue sharing the message through public art and community programs.
What is YAB For All?
YAB For All is a program through which installations are donated to communities each year. A portion of project sales helps fund this work.
