Fence Installations
Fence Piece installations are one of the most common ways communities bring the You Are Beautiful message into public space.
These large-scale text installations transform everyday fences into welcoming landmarks, offering a simple moment of recognition to people passing by.
We prefer the phrase you are beautiful in a single color, painted or fabricated to suit the site. Custom phrases are possible but are quoted separately and must remain open and accessible to all audiences.
Student or youth painting workshops are also possible, allowing participants to help paint the piece before installation. Workshops require additional coordination and cost.

The artwork is bolted onto the fence using a front and back layer that sandwiches the fence, causing no damage to the structure.

How Projects Work

The piece is built in our Chicago studio using durable outdoor materials.
4. Installation
The finished work is installed on site and becomes a lasting part of the community.
