About the Installation

Set along DuSable Lake Shore Drive, the sign eases the rush of the lakefront and invites a brief pause. It sparks small exchanges such as smiles, quick photos, and glances up from the everyday. Over time, those moments add up to a stronger sense of place.

This piece was originally exhibited at the Chicago Cultural Center as the entrance piece to Paint Paste Sticker: Chicago Street Art from October 19, 2013–January 12, 2014.
