About the Installation

Installed on a garage door facing Smith Park in Chicago, this piece was created in collaboration with a private residence and studio. Positioned along a well-traveled neighborhood edge, the work has become an unexpected moment of connection for passersby, especially dog walkers moving through the park each day.

A simple invitation is stenciled on the ground in front of the piece: take your photographs, share with the world. Over time, the location has naturally evolved into a gathering point for photos, with a steady stream of community participation that continues to grow organically.
