About the Installation

Installed in Chicago’s South Loop, You Got This was created as a large-scale interactive public sculpture designed for gathering, movement, and everyday use.

Built from recycled HDPE, the work was designed to withstand Chicago’s changing seasons while remaining approachable, durable, and highly interactive. The sculpture became part of the surrounding urban environment as people climbed on it, photographed it, gathered around it, and experienced it throughout the year.

The project explored how public art can function as both an emotional message and a physical piece of infrastructure within a city.
