About the Installation

Created for Spoke Apartments in Chicago’s River West neighborhood, It’s OK turns a difficult two-story lobby into a unified work of art. Large sculptural letters greet visitors at ground level while handwritten phrases continue the installation upstairs, revealing new viewpoints throughout the building.

Designed with Gensler and Patti Gilford Fine Arts, the artwork demonstrates how integrated public art can transform architecture into a memorable shared experience.
